Boca Tree lighting tonight; Menorah lighting in Delray
If you’re wondering what to do before Thanksgiving, head on over to Boca Raton and help Mayor Whelchel light the holiday tree tonight.
The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at Mizner Park Amphitheater.
The event is being billed as the start of a new tradition and includes snow (really), rides, fireworks, carolers and a few surprises.
Of course, you can then hit the stores and restaurants at Mizner Park.
Festivities run through 8:30 p.m.
Enjoy!
If you’re in Delray, head on over to the Delray Center for the Arts at Old School Square for a menorah lighting ceremony at about 5:15 p.m.
Happy Hanukkah everyone!
A tribute to Tom Petty
We love Tom Petty.
We’ve seen him and the Heartbreakers a bunch of times and he’s amazing.
Tom Petty will not be in Delray this weekend, but “The Petty Hearts” will be.
As Tom might say, “the waiting is the hardest part”.
The Delray Center for the Arts’ Free Friday night concert series continues Nov. 29 with a Tom Petty Tribute.
The show kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
Be there, The Petty Hearts are awesome.
