Sessoms rocks
Possessing an exquisite, soulful voice, Vivian Sessoms is an absolute powerhouse of a performer. She has worked as a backing vocalist for Christina Aguilera, Cher, Joe Cocker, Pink, Patti Labelle, Patti Austin, Natalie Cole and Chaka Khan to name just a few.
She has recorded and toured worldwide as a featured vocalist for several artists, including Chris Botti (jazz trumpeter), Harold Mabern (legendary jazz pianist), Eric Benet, Will Downing, Towa Tei (Dee-Lite), Ryuichi Sakamoto (Japanese composer), David Morales (DJ), Junior Vazquez (DJ), The Bingo Boys (Austrian pop group) and Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20).

Shred for Pets
Have you ever been to a shred party?
We haven’t either, although Dave has been known to tear it up on the shuffleboard court. But I digress.
Come to Iberia Bank, 900 SE Sixth Avenue in Delray from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and shred for a good cause.
Dispose of old bank statements, checks, contracts, etc. $3 donation per box, all proceeds benefiting Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue.
Debbi’s Mobile Dog Grooming will be on site and Christie Banks of Sunny 107.9 is broadcasting live, light refreshments will be served. Enter to win a personal shredder and other raffle prizes. Petco and 1-800-PetMeds will also be there.
