If you’ve never been to the historic Delray Beach Playhouse—well–we urge you to change that.
The charming theater, which overlooks beautiful Lake Ida in Delray Beach, has a rich history of producing memorable shows using local talent.
For 67 years, the Playhouse has wowed audiences in South Florida with an array of shows.
Led by renowned director Randolph DelLago, the Playhouse’s 2013-2014 season offers something for just about every theatrical taste.
The Playhouse”s next production—“Schoolhouse Rock Live!”—debuts July 13 and continues with performances July 14 and July 20.
“Schoolhouse Rock Live!” is presented by the Children’s Theater at the Playhouse and features over 30 talented young performers. The Children’s Theater started 21 years ago under the leadership of the legendary “Miss Dolly”, who is still at the helm. Over the years, the program has grown from 7 young performers to over 100 students who study acting, singing, dance and improvisational theater.
Their latest production is the classic Schoolhouse Rock, a lively tour de force of music and dancing.
